“teds market” started life as a small grocery store, back in 2015. That idea was short lived, and closed in late 2016. Fortunately, we had simultaneously opened a small tasting room called teds wine bar. It started as a side project, as a way for customers to taste wine before buying bottles to take home.
But our customers had another plan for teds wine bar. They wanted to hang out, drink wine and beer, and order food. Quickly teds wine bar evolved into a full scale restaurant, and then began to outgrow its space. As it began to take over the main level, it became clear that teds wine bar should be the primary business.
In January of 2017, what remained of the original teds market ceased to exist. The last of the deli, produce and grocery were removed, and the grocery store was converted to a restaurant. On March 1, 2017, a new venture, teds beerhall was born.
teds beerhall is an all ages restaurant featuring craft beer, burgers, pizza, and shareable snacks. Live music happens on Friday & Saturday nights, and food trucks on Thursdays in the summer.
During the challenging pandemic year of 2020, we made the tough decision to close teds wine bar, our cozy outpost that offered a quieter, more adult oriented experience.
Fortunately, this coincided with another business closing across town, and through a mutual connection, teds beercade opened its doors in January 2021. Serving a 21+ crowd, teds beercade has 30+ vintage arcade and pinball games, and offers beer, wine, and the same food menu as teds beerhall.
